APPLICATIONS
Industrial Wastewater

Agrimond has developed industrial wastewater treatment
systems capable of treating a variety of contaminates in waste streams
with one common goal in mind-cleaner water and lower operating costs.
Whether it is treating a manufacturing facility's waste stream so
it can be discharged without incurring local surcharges, giving
a plant the ability to operate on a closed-loop water reuse system,
or treating wastewater to meet EPA standards for surface water discharge,
Agrimond has the ability to achieve its customer's goals. The use
of cutting-edge technology and innovative methodology in water treatment
gives Agrimond the ability to treat various contaminants, including
COD/BOD, metals, microorganisms (pathogens, etc.), organics (pesticides,
petroleum, etc.) and inorganics to name a few. By applying the knowledge
base of our experienced staff to the performance of our products
and methods, Agrimond is making operations easier for today's industries.
Oxidation and consumption of residual organics
can result in better compliance with regulations and lower surcharges.
Oxidation of residual long chain organics that are naturally
toxic to bacteria are broken down for easier consumption by bacteria.

Ozone increases the dissolved oxygen level in the waste stream as
the ozone reverts back to elemental oxygen.
Removal of color from waste streams
due to the reduction of compounds such as tannins, lignins, etc.
Removal/reduction of compounds such
as volatile fatty acids, hydrogen sulfides, ammonia, etc.
Ozonation is a micro-flocculent that allows for
the physical removal of the resulting suspended solids via filtration.
By achieving the proper concentration
of ozone in the wastewater, Agrimond can create a sterile waste
stream quickly and efficiently.
